As a Latino immigrant born in Mexico, fluent in both Spanish and English, I’m running for Judge of the Superior Court of Sonoma County to bring diversity and a broad perspective to our justice system.
I attended our California public schools and served as an altar boy before I went on to Yale University and Stanford Law School. With over 25 years of litigation experience, I’m deeply committed to upholding justice with integrity.
Beyond my legal career, I’m actively engaged in our community. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts and have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Bar Association (SCBA term 2024-2026). Also, I’m a retired Chapter Leader of the Sonoma County Chapter of the ACLU.
As a family man, homeowner, and small business owner, I have a personal stake in the well-being and future of our community. Additionally, I’m a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a discipline that sharpens my problem-solving skills under pressure.
