After uploading the AFI misprint video I noticed a comment left last year on a five year old video.
The account who replied looks inactive. The link it shared goes to an unlisted play list associated with the Asian Art Museum titled After Hope: Videos of Resistance.
Three years ago this video, The Lonely Age, played there. All I know is from 6:21:00 to 6:48:00 sound and footage of my video demonstrating ash from California's Camp Fire was cut in to Connie Zheng's short film.
What a nice surprise to be included. :) It's a project I would have said yes to had I known. From the other unlisted videos it looks like the Asian Art Museum had a great show.
Here's my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZpBala-Yms
And here's what the music would sound like if I didn't use the raw audio picked up from the car speakers lol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpDn4-Na5co&t=1091s
My video was shot 10 days in to the disaster. The winds brought smoke 200 miles south to San Francisco. An AQI of 170 was measured on that day. Camp Fire was California's deadliest and most destructive wildfire in its history in 2018. Then 2019 rolled around.
I'll reach out to Connie Zheng. See if I might find more information.
Edit: Coverage from the event:
Feb 2021: The videos include Connie Zheng’s “The Lonely Age” (Part I), about people in a dystopian future searching for magic seeds with curative properties. https://hyperallergic.com/623421/looking-for-hope-and-clinging-to-hope-short-films-for-our-times/
